The Emblem:
Pope Pius XII's pontificate (1939-1958) was marked by a singular devotion to the cause of lay spirituality. The goal of the Pope Pius XII program is to challenge the candidate to evaluate their own personal talents and how the different life choices (single, married, religious, ordained), occupations and ministries in the church are interrelated and calls from God.
The Program:
The program explores life in the secular community (both married and single) and in the religious community and the opportunities available for serving the Church. It includes youth led discussions on current issues facing the church and society, which are normally included as part of a Pius XII retreat or day of recollection. This program is mainly discussion based and designed for small groups.
Only counselors trained by the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting may present the program.

Cost is $52.00 per scout which includes the class materials, meals, and snacks.
